About the position

The Front End UX/UI Developer position is a critical role within our Web team, focusing on the creation of responsive and mobile-first user interfaces for applications and websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating both company and customer needs into functional and visually appealing interactive applications. This role requires a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as the developer will be expected to code from scratch rather than relying on plugins or scripts. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance three days a week at one of the specified locations: Bellevue, WA; Frisco, TX; Overland Park, KS; or Herndon, VA, with the remaining days available for remote work. In this role, the developer will collaborate closely with designers and copywriters to convert visual designs into functional code, implementing the layout, styling, and interactivity of the website. Additional responsibilities include maintaining business ownership of assigned sections of the website, fostering relationships to ensure quality and continuity, and assisting in the training, deployment, and production of web-based applications. The developer will engage in strategic planning to meet business requirements in a fast-paced environment, adapting to project-based workflows rather than standard sprint processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative atmosphere, working alongside creative leads, designers, and copywriters. They will be involved in project kick-offs, providing input during the design phase, and participating in progress presentations and check-ins. The role also involves troubleshooting and fixing bugs, ensuring that all components are functioning correctly and connected properly.
