About the position

The Front-end Web Developer at Law Business Research (LBR) is responsible for developing and enhancing the company's digital product portfolio. This role involves collaboration with software and product teams to deliver on the software roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement in web development quality, security, and performance. The developer will also support team members with technical challenges and address any security vulnerabilities in the codebase.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the company's digital product portfolio.
• Support team members with technical challenges.
• Flag threats to LBR's digital product portfolio for internal and external systems.
• Work with software and product teams to deliver the software roadmap.
• Ensure continuous improvement for web development quality, security, and performance.
• Support the manager and Senior Developers in defining technical deliverables for roadmap work.
• Implement sprint objectives and provide estimates for roadmap and sprint planning.
• Resolve issues with applications in a timely manner.
• Minimize bugs and known security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a software development role.
• Experience working within an Agile software development environment.
• Strong IT knowledge and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good business and process analysis skills.
• Knowledge of best practice development principles.
• Ability to prioritize work and escalate where necessary.
• Capable of developing good relationships with product managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Clear communicator with initiative and resourcefulness.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with C# .Net (Core + Framework) & Asp.Net.
• Familiarity with Typescript & React.
• Knowledge of TSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Containers and Azure DevOps.
