About the position

SASSO is seeking a talented Front End Web Developer to join their team, responsible for creating award-winning websites and digital media projects. This role requires a blend of programming, UI design, and client interaction, with a focus on delivering high-quality web solutions. The ideal candidate will be a team player who embraces new technologies and trends, contributing to brainstorming sessions and problem-solving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production management, maintenance, and updates of existing and new client websites
• Work with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website
• Write website code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Produce, maintain, and modify websites and user interfaces
• Incorporate applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into client websites
• Create tools that enhance the user’s website experience
• Ensure websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
• Routinely test websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
• Fix any website issues or bugs that arise
• Develop with and customize open source and licensed applications such as Craft, WordPress, and Webflow
• Integrate online e-commerce through third-party applications such as Shopify
• Carry a project from initial concept through delivery of HTML/XHTML and CSS
• Organize and set up projects according to client specifications and timelines
• Act as a liaison with account and business development teams to provide insights for client growth
• Maintain multiple hosting environments and security updates on all sites
• Proficiently create web layouts in Photoshop/Illustrator and build HTML/CMS websites
• Design and build scalable websites from content architecture to launch

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 4-6 years minimum web programming experience
• 3 years of experience in marketing; advertising agency experience preferred
• Experience with responsive designs, CSS media queries, content management systems, and semantic tools
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience in HTML email design and coding is a plus
• Knowledge of languages such as HTML-5, CSS, PHP, various JavaScript libraries (jQuery, VUE.js, or React), Git, Subversion, CVS or related tools
• Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL is a plus but not required
• Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
