Job Title: Front End Web Developer We are seeking a talented and motivated Front End Web Developer to join our dynamic team at McGuff Company Inc. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating responsive website designs and an expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. This role is critical in ensuring our websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and function seamlessly across all browsers and devices. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, design knowledge, and soft skills to create effective, user-friendly websites and applications. As a Front End Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders is essential, as is addressing and resolving cross-browser compatibility issues. You will implement media queries for responsive design and utilize CSS frameworks such as Twitter's Bootstrap to enhance website functionality and appearance. Additionally, you will maintain version control using GIT/SVN and work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with great attention to detail and a highly organized work style. The ideal candidate will stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Vanilla JavaScript, C#, Microsoft .Net, and .Net Core. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with designers, leveraging your basic understanding of graphic design tools to foster better collaboration. This position requires a positive and upbeat attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Must have expertise with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with media queries for responsive design.
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and how design affects SEO.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Twitter's Bootstrap.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized work style.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude with a quick learning ability.
