About the position

The Front of House Manager at Big Woody's Sports Bar & Grill is responsible for leading the front operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient restaurant management. This role involves overseeing staff, maintaining quality and profitability goals, and enhancing the dining experience for customers. The manager will also be involved in hiring, training, and motivating staff while promoting the restaurant within the local community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Open and Close Restaurant
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Floor Manager
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Management experience of at least 2 years
