About the position

The Front-of-House (FOH) Staff or Host position at Sup Noodle Bar involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Responsibilities

  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
  • Make recommendations for food and beverages.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required.
  • Maintain clean service areas and monitor guests' dining experience.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with food and service.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and assist fellow servers as needed.
  • Prepare final bills and process payments.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Attend scheduled employee meetings and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Answer incoming calls and provide appropriate service.
  • Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables and replenishing water.
  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their assigned dining area as a host.
  • Manage the flow of guests and provide accurate wait times.
  • Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them.
  • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of server/runner experience for FOH role.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced food service environment for Host role.
  • Food Handler Certification (provided by the company).
  • Basic math skills for handling payments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Customer service-focused mindset.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
