About the position

The Front of House Supervisor at PharmaCann is responsible for overseeing a team that enhances customer experience, implements quality and training programs, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role focuses on driving customer engagement, managing cash procedures, and maintaining operational efficiency within the retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high customer experience standards and foster a customer-oriented culture.
  • Lead a customer service program to enhance repeat business through community networking and data capture.
  • Collaborate with managers to exceed sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and compliance with payroll goals.
  • Audit cash procedures and manage daily cash reconciliation.
  • Supervise the check-in/camera team to maintain safety and operational standards.
  • Uphold merchandise presentation standards and ensure menu availability.
  • Facilitate smooth day-to-day operations through effective team management.
  • Support the implementation of operational policies and procedures for retail staff.
  • Train employees on customer experience and hospitality standards.
  • Maintain a training calendar and ensure onboarding is completed for new hires.
  • Provide continuous training and development for team members.
  • Lead by example and coach team members on performance issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • Store leadership experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service related field.
  • Skilled in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to conduct interactions with a high ethical standard.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage relationships effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the cannabis industry or retail environment.
  • Familiarity with customer loyalty programs and satisfaction surveys.
