About the position

The Team Leader at Chick-fil-A is a pivotal role that embodies the company's core values and culture. This position focuses on operational excellence and team development, ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to guests. Team Leaders are responsible for leading shifts, coaching team members, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful responses to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires and set the tone for each shift.
• Act as a role model for the team and encourage a friendly atmosphere.
• Open and/or close the restaurant, leading shifts as a key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize the day's transactions.

Requirements

• Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members.
• Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is preferred.
