Front of House Team Member

About the position

The Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Team members are expected to engage with customers, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety while contributing to a positive atmosphere. This position offers an opportunity for personal growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Continually clean workstations, dining room, and restrooms
• Follow food safety and workplace safety standards at all times
• Work with urgency throughout your shift to serve guests as fast as possible
• Ensure order accuracy from taking the order to bagging and serving it
• Display the Core 4 at all times: Create eye contact, speak with a friendly tone, share a smile, and always say 'my pleasure'
• Deep clean the restaurant regularly, following lists and leadership direction
• Take initiative to improve the restaurant's culture and processes
• Take all breaks as provided by Leaders in the restaurant

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for several hours at a time
