Longboards East Beach is seeking to hire a Front of the House Bartender/Waitstaff. The ideal candidate for the Bar position should possess extensive experience in high-volume bar service, as this role is crucial for maintaining the quality and efficiency of service during busy periods. The local clientele makes this position particularly appealing and lucrative, especially with the upcoming football season, which is expected to increase customer traffic significantly. Candidates should be prepared to engage with customers and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive dining experience. In addition to bartenders, we are also looking to fill positions for experienced waitstaff. The company values internal advancement and prefers to promote from within; however, we are open to hiring a solid candidate for a floor supervisory management position if they demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to guests at the bar and dining area.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in high-volume bar service (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
