About the position

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and patient care support to the assigned clinic within the UCLA Health Community Clinics. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, ensuring a seamless experience from registration to discharge. You will work collaboratively as a member of the Ambulatory Care clinic team, focusing on delivering smooth outpatient flow that results in optimum patient satisfaction and efficient clinic operations. This position is vital in maintaining the high standards of care that UCLA Health is known for, and you will play a key role in enhancing the overall patient experience. Your duties will include managing the appointment scheduling process, which involves facilitating transportation arrangements and maintaining the schedules of sub-specialty physicians. You will be expected to communicate effectively with both physicians and staff in a high-volume setting, ensuring that all patient needs are met promptly and professionally. Your organizational skills will be crucial in prioritizing assignments and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic. As part of the Ambulatory Care team, you will also be responsible for coordinating multiple appointments with staff from various clinical services at the UCLA Medical Center. This requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be the point of contact for patients and staff alike, ensuring that all interactions are handled with care and professionalism. Your role is integral to the clinic's operations, and your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and the quality of care provided.

Responsibilities
