About the position

Refresh Med Spa is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Office Clerk/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a receptionist or secretarial role, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our clients, the receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all visitors feel valued and attended to. The position requires an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the beauty and wellness industry. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the overall operations of the spa. In this role, the receptionist will manage a variety of tasks including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling administrative duties. The ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment is essential. The receptionist will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front office area, ensuring that all materials and supplies are readily available for both staff and clients. This position is full-time, with a day shift schedule that does not require working on weekends or holidays, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and appointments.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing client records.
  • Provide information about services and products offered by the spa.
  • Assist with processing payments and managing cash transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations of the spa.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience as a receptionist or secretary.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and improve performance accordingly.
  • An energetic personality that contributes to a positive work environment.

Nice-to-haves
