About the position

The Front Office Clerk position at Burger Rehabilitation is a vital role within our Woodland Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinic. The primary responsibility of the Front Office Clerk is to manage the front office operations, which includes implementing an efficient scheduling system for patients to ensure a full schedule. This role also involves completing and routing all necessary paperwork related to patient care and billing information accurately and within required timelines. The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. In this role, you will be expected to multitask effectively while providing excellent customer service in a medical setting. You will be part of an awesome team dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Burger Rehabilitation offers a range of services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with various specialty programs. Responsibilities

  • Manage the front office operations of the clinic.
  • Implement scheduling of patients to ensure a full schedule.
  • Complete and route all appropriate paperwork related to patient care and billing information accurately and within required timelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure positive relationships with the company.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical secretarial school/courses preferred.
  • Successful experience in front or back medical office preferred.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
  • Very accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service and employee communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
