About the position

The Front Office Coordinator at Athletico Physical Therapy is responsible for managing the patient experience from the first point of contact to the last. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and efficient clinic operations, ensuring that patients receive the best care and support throughout their physical therapy journey. The coordinator will handle scheduling, insurance verification, and communication with healthcare providers, all while fostering a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to all patients and staff.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize patient flow and match patients with appropriate clinicians.
• Conduct new patient onboarding, including facility tours and data gathering.
• Verify patient medical insurance information and manage insurance requirements.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Assist in managing patient expectations regarding treatment frequency and goals.
• Organize cultural moments to celebrate patient achievements with the clinical team.
• Execute administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
• Experience with managing customer payments preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
