About the position

The Front Office Coordinator at Athletico Physical Therapy plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience from the first point of contact to the last. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing clinic scheduling, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. The coordinator will also handle administrative tasks and support the clinic's operational objectives, all while embodying the company's core values of teamwork, accountability, and continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to all patients and physical therapy staff.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize patient flow and match patients with the best clinician for their needs.
• Conduct new patient onboarding, including facility tours and data gathering.
• Verify patient medical insurance information and manage insurance requirements.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress to physicians and other stakeholders.
• Assist with managing patient expectations regarding treatment frequency and discharge planning.
• Organize cultural moments to recognize and appreciate patients' achievements.
• Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
