About the position

The Front Office Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient business operations within a dental practice. This position focuses on enhancing the patient experience by managing scheduling, financial transactions, and maintaining a professional environment. The coordinator acts as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting.
  • Promoting excellent customer service by all levels of the staff.
  • Executing all filing and organizational systems for the practice.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Maintaining a clean and uncluttered work environment at all times.
  • Completing tasks within given time frames.
  • Ensuring patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting complaints and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences.
  • Supporting business goals by utilizing schedules effectively and supporting the practice revenue objectives.
  • Making corrections when mistakes are made, regardless of the consequences.
  • Following and demonstrating commitment to office policies, professional expectations, clinical service excellence, and outstanding patient service.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
