About the position

Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Front Office Float for our Cape Coral locations. This position is Mon-Fri, day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Print, copy and distribute physician schedules as needed
  • Print patient encounter forms and prepare patient charts for appointments
  • Verify the accuracy of patient information and insurance plans
  • Assist patients with account questions or refers to the appropriate area
  • Receive, code, post patient payments, issue receipts, and process credit card transactions
  • Assist patients with account/balance questions or provides referral to Financial Counselor
  • Maintain accurate deposit information to include reports and encounter forms
  • Reconcile daily cash and maintains balances each day
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Requirements

  • Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
  • Experience working in a high volume medical office environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
  • Proficiency in handling all interactions in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
  • One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience preferred
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required
