About the position

The Front Office Manager at Soho House Austin is responsible for overseeing the hotel's front office operations, ensuring a high level of hospitality and service for members and guests. This role involves managing staff, developing efficient processes, and maintaining a positive guest experience while also handling administrative tasks such as budgeting and payroll management.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine processes that enhance member and guest experience.
  • Develop and monitor yearly departmental goals related to payroll, expenses, staffing levels, and guest service.
  • Create monthly budgets and manage costs related to rooms, expenditures, and staffing.
  • Oversee concierge services and provide information about local attractions.
  • Supervise and inspire staff to maintain service standards set by Soho House & Co.
  • Ensure proper onboarding training for new hires and conduct staff meetings.
  • Communicate daily events, guest lists, and occupancy to staff.
  • Collaborate with the controller and Purchasing Manager for inventory management.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service and resolve guest disputes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience managing Front Office operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Opera, Salesforce, Open Table, and Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
  • Hospitality Degree preferred.
