About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality management, and a passion for providing outstanding service. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our front office operations within a hotel or resort environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk operations, including overseeing check-in and check-out processes.
  • Conduct night audits to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Supervise front office staff, providing training and support to enhance their performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless guest services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Utilize phone systems efficiently to manage incoming calls and reservations.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service.
  • Ensure that the front office area is well-organized, clean, and welcoming for guests.
  • Assist in developing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, preferably as a Front Office Manager or similar position.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and phone systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a resort or hotel setting.
