About the position

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk team at a premier resort. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional guest experiences through effective management of front desk operations, communication between departments, and maintaining high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the front desk staff, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Manage night audit processes and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing personalized service.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure timely room availability and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
  • Implement training programs for new staff on front desk procedures, phone systems, and customer service best practices.
  • Monitor front office performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is required.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management position is preferred.
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with resort operations and night audit processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in handling phone systems and guest inquiries.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
