About the position

The Front Office Manager at Rooted School Inc is responsible for managing the front office operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting with office security and logistics. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Direct clients to various parts of the office and announce clients as necessary.
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans.
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms.
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Answer, forward, and screen phone calls.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working in an office setting preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Ability to contribute positively as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
