About the position

The Front Office Project Manager will play a crucial role in modernizing technology and enhancing data-driven approaches within the Front Office Technology Project Management Team. This position focuses on building out Front to Trade Support across various financial products, including Interest Rate, FX, and Credit Default Derivatives. The role involves managing strategic projects from inception to production, ensuring alignment with the Global Markets Group strategy and meeting client expectations for functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Manage project implementation for strategic enhancements across Rates, XVA, FX Desks, ETrading, and F2B Department Trade Support.
• Lead new projects from inception through production go live, managing the project lifecycle.
• Author Project Initiation Documents and Business Requirements Documents, and provide Status Reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery, including kick-offs, reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams, supporting resource planning for execution.
• Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
• Gather and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks, and schedule.
• Manage risk, dependencies, and impediments for the project team, answering agile/waterfall framework questions.
• Responsible for artifacts, routines, coordination, and communication needed for governance forums.
• Identify risks and dependencies, quantifying their impact on business and technology.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in bank capital markets as a Project Manager with proven experience in Front, Middle Office, and/or Office system implementations.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on meeting deadlines and objectives.
• Experience with bilateral and cleared Rates and FX Products, including Swaptions, Cross Currency IRS, OIS, FRAs, and FX Options.
• Prior experience in Capital Markets or Fixed Income Products, demonstrating successful project launches and benefits.
• Working knowledge of OTC market operations, including Compression, Initial Margin Optimization, and Clearing.
• Experience in Front to Trade support across booking new trades, trade affirmation, and lifecycle events.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with users and team members.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred.

• Understanding of trade lifecycle from Trade Execution through affirmation and settlement of cash flow.
• Knowledge of SIMM IM vs Cleared IM, Risk Weighted Assets, MPOR, Delta, Present Values.
