About the position

The Front Office Supervisor at Little America Hotel & Resort is responsible for overseeing front office operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing financial performance. This role involves supervising staff, managing guest relations, and maintaining efficient check-in and check-out processes. The supervisor will also provide training and support to team members while upholding high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff.
  • Direct and work with managers and employees to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage guest relations and serve as the primary contact for hotel inquiries.
  • Understand and manage hotel room inventory to maximize revenue.
  • Provide training to new and existing employees.
  • Motivate team members to participate in upselling procedures to grow revenue.
  • Train and uphold Grand America Service standards in conjunction with Forbes 5-star service standards.
  • Perform cashier duties and upsell in the gift shop as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of property management software experience (Opera preferred).
  • Experience with forecasting for operations.
  • Total understanding of all hotel front office procedures.
  • Knowledge of guest services and hotel services, policies, or operations.
  • Fluency in oral and written English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in time management and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with hospitality economics and guest service standards.
