About the position

The Marketing Manager at CVS Health is responsible for driving marketing initiatives that acquire new customers, enhance engagement with existing customers, and increase enterprise value. This role involves end-to-end project management, critical thinking to solve business challenges, and effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of marketing strategies. The position is part of the Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness retail marketing team and requires a strong foundation in marketing, project management, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and end-to-end accountability for projects from initiation through execution.
  • Write marketing briefs and gain stakeholder alignment.
  • Brief internal and external creative agency partners, and oversee creative approval and implementation.
  • Identify and solve business challenges and opportunities using critical thinking skills.
  • Present opportunities and recommendations clearly in PowerPoint.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of performance marketing strategies.
  • Plan and oversee execution of key marketing tactics ensuring successful delivery and results.
  • Manage multiple initiatives with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Leverage analytics to forecast and measure marketing channel performance and support optimization.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Insights team to field customer research and apply learnings into actionable strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for CVS.
  • Drive development of marketing plans rooted in consumer, competitor, and company insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a strong foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or liberal arts or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Retail marketing or retail agency/strategy experience.
  • Superior project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of comfort working and managing cross-functional relationships in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Enjoys managing projects in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Self-motivated individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
