About the position

The Manager of Front Store Systems Modernization at CVS Health plays a crucial role in enhancing front store operations through the adoption of innovative technology solutions. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives and improves customer experience. The manager will oversee modernization projects, manage vendor relationships, and ensure effective training and support for staff to facilitate seamless integration of new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of a prioritized technology roadmap.
  • Lead development and implementation of new technology enhancements, including requirement documents and meetings with key partners.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Retail Operations, IT, Inventory Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other business owners.
  • Provide recommendations and updates to leadership regarding the FS Systems Modernization roadmap.
  • Establish, update, and maintain a clear set of actions across retail, including interdependencies required to accomplish overarching goals.
  • Identify new projects that positively impact colleague and customer experience.
  • Employ strategic thinking and proactive action in project development, identifying potential risks and challenges in advance.
  • Own continuous improvement programs and processes that drive service and productivity improvement.
  • Demonstrate agility to pivot project goals to meet business needs.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with corporate partners and retail executives.
  • Own the coordination, best practices, and execution of operations strategy and FS experience.
  • Act as a change agent, fully embracing organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage a results-oriented mindset to monitor improvements and provide feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in retail or a similar model.
  • 5+ years of strategic thinking and long-term planning experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience from inception to project launch.
  • 5+ years of experience creating technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Proven track record of high performance.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • 8+ years of experience working in retail or a similar model.
