About the position

The Manager of Front Store Systems Modernization at CVS Health plays a crucial role in enhancing front store operations through the adoption of innovative technology solutions. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives and improves customer experience. The manager will oversee modernization projects, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation and training of new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of a prioritized technology roadmap.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new technology enhancements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure project success.
  • Provide recommendations and updates to leadership regarding the FS Systems Modernization roadmap.
  • Establish and maintain a clear set of actions across retail to accomplish overarching goals.
  • Identify new projects that positively impact colleague and customer experience.
  • Own continuous improvement programs that drive service and productivity in retail locations.
  • Demonstrate agility in pivoting project goals to meet business needs.
  • Lead meetings with corporate partners and retail executives.
  • Create robust strategies under the guidance of the Senior Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in retail or a similar model.
  • 5+ years of strategic thinking and long-term planning experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience from inception to launch.
  • 5+ years of experience creating technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • 8+ years of experience working in retail or a similar model.
  • 8+ years of strategic thinking and long-term planning experience.
  • 8+ years of experience creating insight presentations from synthesized data.
  • 8+ years of project management experience from inception to launch.
