About the position

CNA is seeking a Full Stack Developer or Sr. Full Stack Developer to provide high-level expertise in systems analysis, application development, and integration. This role involves leading and architecting business applications to support organizational needs, mentoring staff, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects and lead teams, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex client area requirements and design application system specifications.
• Develop, test, and implement efficient application solutions.
• Lead the integration of vendor applications with existing systems.
• Act as a technical consultant to programming staff and mentor them in the development process.
• Coordinate activities with client areas and other IT departments.
• Research and evaluate new solutions and recommend cost-effective designs.
• Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and the applications area.
• Support the implementation of applications into production and testing environments.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of related experience in systems analysis and application development.
• Solid technical knowledge of high-level programming languages and databases.
• In-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle and application development alternatives.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of interface design and user-centered design methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage projects and lead teams.
• Proficiency in React, Angular, Typescript, NodeJS for front-end development, and Java for back-end development.
• Experience with JDK 11 and JDK 17, and familiarity with Kotlin preferred.
• Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem and Cloud Native patterns.
