About the position

The Frontend Delivery Lead at SELF ID is a senior-level engineering role focused on creating compelling user experiences for both desktop and mobile applications. This position involves establishing and leading the frontend practice, collaborating with product management, and ensuring the reliable delivery of user experiences to market. The role emphasizes strong technical skills in frontend development, particularly with React and Redux, and requires excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the frontend practice for consumer-facing application interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management to ensure reliable delivery of user experiences to market.
• Drive excellent Frontend Engineering documentation practices in coordination with the documentation lead.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience building experiences on top of React and Redux.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript with experience in Node and TypeScript as added bonuses.
• Experience working with teams that build RESTful APIs.
• Mastery of best practices around web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and baseline accessibility.
• Strong interest and experience with CSS and building responsive applications across modern browsers and devices.
• Repeated experience working cross-functionally and commonly acting as a doer more than a delegator.
• Solid experience with fully-remote communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record of developing and deploying compelling user interfaces across web and mobile.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
