About the position

Veracity by RGP™ is seeking an Angular Front-End Developer to join their team. This role focuses on delivering innovative front-end solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging technical expertise in Angular and other web technologies. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to create high-quality, user-friendly web applications that drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Respect and admire the culture, process, and craft of web development while understanding client experience.
• Maintain a solid understanding of tools, processes, and approaches for world-class front-end development, including UX/UI principles.
• Deliver high-quality Angular solutions efficiently and effectively.
• Engineer for performance, maintainability, and efficiency while creating beautiful end-user experiences.
• Work in an agile software development team, participating in daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and planning sessions.
• Collaborate extensively in a virtual team workspace during the day.
• Communicate effectively with business, creative, and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, I.S./I.T. or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on front-end web development experience, with expertise in Angular, HTML5, CSS3 (Sass), and jQuery.
• At least 1 year of recent in-depth Angular experience.
• Experience with NgRx and Angular Material is a bonus.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as Vue, React, Node, and Knockout is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to produce detail-oriented, pixel-perfect work.
• Ability to proactively manage timelines and commitments.
• Critical thinking and staying updated on technology trends, specializing in Angular.
• Ability to produce rapid and elegant componentized code and digital experiences.
• Proficiency in responsive or adaptive web design.
• Broad knowledge of capabilities across different browsers and devices.
• Proficiency with a version control system (Git preferred).
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and automated build/testing tools like Jenkins, Gulp, etc.
• Practical understanding of Figma designs and prototypes for creating pixel-perfect products.
• Comfortable operating via the command line.
• Broad experience working on leading-edge projects for large, complex organizations.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development practices.
