About the position

As a Frontend Developer at CGI, you will be involved in developing applications that cater to thousands of users across various sectors including sports, retail, logistics, energy, HR, finance, and the public sector. You will participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, testing, and maintenance, using modern technologies such as React or Angular. Collaboration with UX/UI teams is also a key aspect of the role, allowing you to experiment with cutting-edge technologies like VR/AR, IoT, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications used by thousands of users.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from ideation to maintenance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance application design.
• Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab for planning and development.
• Work on multiple applications throughout the year.

Requirements

• Experience in frontend/backend development with several projects completed.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ideally with React or Angular.
• Fluent in Czech (or Slovak) and proficient in English.
• A university degree in IT or a related field is a plus, but openness and willingness to learn are more important.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with UI design or UX.
• Familiarity with modern technologies such as VR/AR, IoT, and AI.
