About the position

The Frontend Developer role at Sangoma involves working on the Collaboration as a Service (CollaaS) platform, focusing on the development and implementation of frontend software for various collaboration products. The position requires collaboration with backend and DevOps teams to ensure a seamless user experience, along with responsibilities such as code reviews, debugging, and integrating third-party APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement frontend software related to collaboration platforms (Teamhub, MyHud, HudWeb, etc.)
• Perform peer code reviews
• Debug and analyze issues reported by customers
• Integrate third-party cloud APIs and libraries
• Collaborate with Backend and DevOps teams to ensure a flawless user experience
• Use best practices in coding and software development to produce efficient, scalable, and secure software

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• At least 4 years of experience in web and desktop applications development
• Strong knowledge of React and ReactJS frameworks
• Good knowledge of Electron and hands-on experience with desktop application development
• Strong knowledge of source control tools like GIT and Subversion
• At least 3 years of experience with frontend application development using Linux-based operating systems as backend
• Good understanding of multi-system-based applications
• Experience in building scalable and redundant application software
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Good frontend debugging skills
• Strong focus on security in network and software
• Good customer relationship skills
