GovCIO is currently seeking an Appian Frontend Developer to collaborate and implement with cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering impactful features. This pivotal role will help coordinate the development efforts across different departments to ensure timely and efficient feature rollouts. The position is fully remote and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS). The Appian Configuration Developer will provide guidance on Appian product configuration, mapping of requirements and rulesets to Appian objects and process flow, design review, performance testing, scaling, and industry-specific knowledge. In this role, you will act as a liaison with customers to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical design and implementation. You will produce rulesets, configurations, process workflows, and technical solutions for development while supporting requirement gathering sessions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will develop a deep understanding of the client enterprise while leading large, multi-year program initiatives. Additionally, you will create and maintain business process and technical documentation, including workflows, architecture diagrams, interface diagrams, and design best practices. You will participate in meetings with clients, the business analysis team, and internal technical and operational teams. The role requires extensive knowledge of Appian's application proprietary Case Management and Business Process Management software, as well as experience in Appian 18.x (and above) design and implementation. You will implement design, development, and testing best practices across the entire software development life cycle, and possess extensive knowledge of government or industry configuration management procedures. Practical experience in the use of automated tools to support configuration management efforts is also essential, along with a thorough understanding of software development and government documentation standards.
