GovCIO is currently seeking an Appian Frontend Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement impactful features and coordinate development efforts across various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient feature rollouts, making this position crucial for the success of our projects. As an Appian Configuration Developer, you will provide guidance on Appian product configuration, mapping requirements and rulesets to Appian objects and process flows, conducting design reviews, performance testing, and applying industry-specific knowledge to enhance our applications. In this role, you will act as a liaison with customers to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations. You will produce rulesets, configurations, process workflows, and technical solutions for development while supporting requirement gathering sessions. Close collaboration with stakeholders is essential, as you will need to develop a deep understanding of the client enterprise and lead large, multi-year program initiatives. Additionally, you will create and maintain business process and technical documentation, including workflows, architecture diagrams, interface diagrams, and design best practices. Your extensive knowledge of Appian's proprietary Case Management and Business Process Management software will be vital, particularly your experience with Appian 18.x and above. You will implement design, development, and testing best practices across the entire software development life cycle, ensuring that all processes align with government or industry configuration management procedures. Practical experience with automated tools to support configuration management efforts is also required, along with a thorough understanding of software development and government documentation standards.
