About the position

The Frontend Developer position at ATC involves supporting the MDOT Development program by collaborating with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts. The role focuses on developing and maintaining reusable UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust, with a strong emphasis on compliance with WCAG 2.1 and ADA standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components that are accessible and performant.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 and ADA standards in all development work.
• Test all development for accessibility using Jaws reader and browser plugins.
• Participate in Agile development processes.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks.
• 5 years of knowledge and background with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance policies.
• 3 years of experience with current Java, including relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• 2 years of experience programming with JPA framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with current Spring framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 3 years of experience programming with Java 8+.
• 2 years of experience participating in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
