About the position

Optomi, in partnership with a company in the resources industry, is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their team for an on-site role in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will work with cutting-edge technology in a fostering and collaborative environment, focusing on developing and implementing user interfaces using React and other modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand the concept of React and how it performs, can do debugging and troubleshooting from React.
• Organize data, perform asynchronous operations, call APIs, and render components from backend data.
• Implement designs from Figma into the React application.
• Manage data for the front end and ensure effective data handling.
• Understand CI/CD processes and review code effectively.
• Manage the code base and participate in agile development, including sprint planning and project management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, and UX design with Figma.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HTML and CSS for design, animation, and styling.
• Understanding of React Hooks and state management.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of API and database interactions.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
