About the position

Akkodis is seeking a Frontend Developer for a contract position that involves designing scalable web applications, ensuring performance optimization, and collaborating across teams. The role requires maintaining high-quality standards while managing multiple projects and delivering effective solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable web applications using React and related UI frameworks.
• Ensuring the performance, throughput, and SLA requirements are met for all applications.
• Implementing efficient design patterns to create robust and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Identifying areas for improvement within the application and implementing optimizations.
• Managing large datasets, handling data fetching, and ensuring proper authentication mechanisms.
• Maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables and working on multiple projects concurrently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in front-end development with strong expertise in React, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of the banking domain, particularly in Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tools such as Ag-Grid, Redux, OpenFin, Material UI, and Node.js is a plus.
