About the position

The Frontend React Developer position at Zeus Systems Inc. is a contract role focused on developing user-friendly web applications using React.js and other modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with accessibility standards and compliance, and will work within an Agile team environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and related technologies.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 standards in all web applications.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews.
• Utilize Java and Spring frameworks for backend integration as needed.

Requirements

• Strong background with React.js (5 years required).
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks (5 years required).
• Knowledge of ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance policies (5 years required).
• Experience with Java and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio (3 years required).
• Experience with JPA framework (2 years required).
• Experience with Spring framework (2 years required).
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data (2 years required).
• Experience with Java 8+ (3 years required).
• Experience in Agile development environments (2 years required).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular (1 year preferred).
• Experience in front-end development (1 year preferred).
• Experience with CSS (1 year preferred).
