About the position

The Frontier Developer at Fiserv plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining Frontier-based applications and supporting technologies. This position involves collaboration with business teams to ensure that software configurations meet business requirements, as well as assisting in training and resolving testing defects. The role requires a blend of technical skills and the ability to work under project pressure to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure the Fiserv software based on business requirements
• Collaborate with Project Manager(s) and Project Team to design a solution to fulfill the business requirements
• Assist in developing detailed technical specifications for any customized development or scripting work required during a project
• Configure application parameters including accounts, users, rules, reports, processes, and privileges to meet business requirements
• Validate and test the solution against business requirements
• Work under significant project pressure and meet internal deadlines
• Create and review design documents and change requests

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the use of Frontier
• 3+ years of experience working with MS Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Bachelor's degree or work experience required - preferably in a finance/accounting or related discipline

Nice-to-haves

• Basic knowledge of general ledger, reconciliation processes and general accounting principles and practices
• Ability to discuss and analyze business and technical topics
• Creativity in identifying and implementing solutions to meet business requirements
• Strong verbal communication skills displaying a solid grasp of diplomacy and how to utilize communication style, temperament, tone internally and externally
• Understanding situations that are less than fully defined and detailed, exhibiting the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations
