About the position

The Frontline Director of Sales for South Florida at Travel + Leisure Co. is a pivotal role responsible for achieving defined sales targets through effective management and support of the sales team. This position requires a strong focus on motivating and guiding the sales staff to meet performance goals while ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards. The Director will work closely with the Vice President to assist in staff recruitment, development, and site financial management, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped to succeed in a high-volume sales environment. Key responsibilities include delivering required sales targets, providing training and education to the sales team, and actively participating in management duties, training sessions, and sales meetings. The Director will also support marketing programs and educate the sales staff on marketing strategies, ensuring that all actions align with the company's best practices. Integrity and leadership are essential, as the Director must foster effective communication and collaboration within the team, empowering peers and supporting their growth. Candidates for this role should possess a background in Timeshare or Vacation Ownership sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful sales teams. Strong leadership abilities, including coaching and performance management, are crucial, along with excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales and customer service, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the flexibility to work operational hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve defined Frontline sales targets through supportive management of the sales team.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, development, and site financial management.
  • Deliver required sales targets by motivating staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Provide appropriate training, education, and performance monitoring for the sales team.
  • Support marketing programs and educate sales staff on marketing strategies.
  • Represent the company in an ethical, moral, and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales experience.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership ability including motivating, coaching, and performance management.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated and results-focused.
  • Sound problem-solving and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to recognize financial trends and their application to the business.
  • Flexibility to work operational hours of the site.
  • Must have a Florida Real Estate license or ability to obtain one.
