About the position
As a key member of the Mariano's team, you will create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your role will involve establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. You will be responsible for achieving sales and profit goals established for the department, while monitoring and controlling all established quality assurance standards. Additionally, you will direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the department, supporting the day-to-day operations of the Frozen Foods section. Embracing the Customer 1st strategy, you will encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return.
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
- Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards.
- Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the department.
- Support the day-to-day functions of the Frozen Foods operations.

Requirements
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice-to-haves
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Retail Experience
- Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)
