About the position

As an experienced FSM/Landmark System Analyst at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' technology and business processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can share innovative ideas and contribute to various projects without the extensive travel demands typically associated with consulting roles. You will be part of our Project Delivery Talent Model (PDM), which is specifically designed for long-term, onsite client service delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for determining, defining, and gathering requirements for applications and functions being developed. You will collaborate closely with business users, business analysts, and system analysts to interpret and create system specifications. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, defining, and documenting the IT enablers of business processes that require improvement or implementation. This includes performing feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses, developing and communicating business requirements, and evaluating current workflow processes to assess the feasibility of re-engineering or automation. You will also explore application package functionalities to meet business processing requirements and assist in configuring application packages as needed. Providing end-user support for applications and functions will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with answering application functionality questions and balancing proactive analysis with assistance demands. You will coordinate and participate in user application meetings, support business forms of varying complexity, and evaluate, review, and test applications and functions. Additionally, you will collaborate on technical and end-user documentation, develop training materials and courses for application support resources, and maintain project plans and related documentation. Your role will involve providing detailed project/task estimates and assisting business customers with prioritization. You may also supervise contract resources to ensure standards are met and communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members, escalating any matters that require additional attention.

Responsibilities

  • Determine, define and gather requirements for application/functions being developed
  • Work with business users, business analysts and system analysts to interpret and create system specifications
  • Identify, define and document the IT enablers of the business processes in need of improvement/implementation
  • Perform feasibility study/cost benefit analysis
  • Develop and communicate business requirements
  • Evaluate and analyze current work-flow processes to determine feasibility of re-engineering and/or automation
  • Explore application package functionality to satisfy business processing requirements
  • Assist the Functional Configure application package to satisfy business processing requirements as needed
  • Provide end-user support for applications/functions when required
  • Answer application functionality questions
  • Balance proactive analysis and assistance demands
  • Coordinate, attend, and participate in user application meetings
  • Support business forms considered to simple to medium complexity with the end-users
  • Evaluate, review and test applications/functions
  • Collaborate on technical and end-user documentation needed to support and use the application/function
  • Develop/write training materials and courses for app support resources
  • Develop/write 'app support operator' guides
  • Develop/write 'app support procedure' guides
  • Collaborate on and maintain project plans and related project management documentation
  • Provide detailed project/task estimates and assist business customers with prioritization
  • Supervise contract resources as needed to ensure standards are met
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' experience working as a Systems Analyst
  • 5+ years' experience in Healthcare IT
  • 2+ years' experience using Infor CloudSuite Healthcare technology
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
