The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) at Sligo Creek Healthcare is responsible for providing daily care to elderly residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, medication, and other ongoing needs under the supervision of senior nursing staff. Responsibilities
- Provide daily care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and medication assistance.
- Assist residents with ongoing needs under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Maryland State GNA License.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs.
