About the position

The Experience Coordinator at Serendipity Labs plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy building long-term professional relationships. The Experience Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the lab, ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors while also contributing to the community through events and local marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to visitors and users of the lab at reception.
  • Effectively handle phone and in-person requests for assistance.
  • Anticipate member needs with keen attention to detail.
  • Open and close the lab location to meet brand standards.
  • Maintain the appearance of the lab, including reception, meeting rooms, and common areas.
  • Perform light cleaning duties to ensure the lab meets brand standards.
  • Assist in delivering meetings and events, including set-up, catering, and clean-up.
  • Create a community through contributions to member events and engagement activities.
  • Generate interest in the lab through local marketing activities.
  • Maintain accurate member information in billing software.
  • Act as a brand champion by being knowledgeable about all lab locations and services.
  • Serve as backup to other similar positions at nearby Serendipity Lab locations.

Requirements

  • Strong reasoning, memory, and mathematics skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with members, visitors, and lab staff.
  • Good hearing for receiving detailed information through communication.
  • Clear spoken expression of ideas.
  • Ability to sit, stand, type, and view a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform low-impact physical tasks, including using stairs and lifting.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment D.O.T drug test.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in delivering a high level of hospitality and customer service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in planning, managing, and executing events or meetings.
