About the position

The Experience Coordinator at Serendipity Labs plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy building long-term professional relationships. The Experience Coordinator is responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, event execution, and maintaining the lab's appearance to meet brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to visitors and users of the lab at reception.
  • Effectively handle phone and in-person requests for assistance.
  • Anticipate member needs with keen attention to detail.
  • Open and close the lab location to ensure readiness for business.
  • Maintain the appearance of the lab, including reception, meeting rooms, and common areas.
  • Perform light cleaning duties to uphold brand standards.
  • Assist in delivering meetings and events, including setup, catering, and cleanup.
  • Contribute to member events and foster community engagement.
  • Assist with local marketing activities to generate interest in the lab.
  • Maintain accurate member information in billing software.
  • Act as a brand champion by being knowledgeable about all lab locations and services.
  • Serve as backup to similar positions at other Serendipity Lab locations if applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong reasoning, memory, and mathematics skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to support and interact with members, visitors, and lab staff.
  • Hearing ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Clear spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, type, and view a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform low-impact physical tasks, including using stairs and lifting.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment D.O.T drug test.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in delivering high levels of hospitality and customer service requests.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
