About the position

The Framing Manager is responsible for leading and coaching a team of framers to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions while building strong customer relationships. This role involves driving custom framing sales, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Framing Manager will also assist in various operational tasks, including inventory management and staff training, to create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and create framing solutions.
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs.
  • Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors to enhance customer engagement.
  • Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to ensure timely delivery of custom framing solutions.
  • Achieve personal and team KPIs related to sales and production.
  • Review sales and production workload to build plans and allocate sales floor time for networking.
  • Manage inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Execute shrink and safety programs effectively.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training new team members.
  • Participate in performance management activities for the team.
  • Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and team performance.
  • Promote a positive and respectful work environment, serving as a role model for others.
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to meet budget standards.
  • Follow SOPs and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Acknowledge customers, assist in locating products, and provide solutions.
  • Support Omni channel processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
  • Retail management experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team is preferred.
