About the position

The FT Instructor/Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity & Networking Faculty is responsible for teaching courses related to cybersecurity operations and networking. This role requires a strong background in both practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity and networking, along with the ability to effectively communicate these concepts to students. The position also involves course design and management of instructional resources.

Responsibilities

  • Teach cybersecurity operations and networking courses.
  • Design, identify, manage, and update appropriate hardware and software for networking, programming, cloud computing, and cybersecurity instructional space.
  • Deliver courses in digital forensics, ethical hacking, cloud computing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Networking, Cyber Security, or Computer Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Two years of cybersecurity operations and networking experience.
  • Two years of experience teaching networking operations and cybersecurity courses at community college or undergraduate level.
  • Ability to apply and convey cybersecurity and networking concepts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in designing and delivering courses in digital forensics, ethical hacking, cloud computing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional industry certification.

Benefits

  • Entry Salary: Instructor - $40,147 / Assistant Professor - $43,807
  • Standard Work Week: 35 hours
