About the position
The Floor LPN position at Ridgecrest Community Care Center involves providing essential nursing care in a retirement living and home health environment. The position requires working evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, and offers a competitive sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents and patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and care procedures.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or home health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
