About the position

As a Retail Sr. Store Associate at Office Depot, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences by actively engaging with customers and recommending appropriate products and services. This position focuses on creating a vibrant sales culture while maintaining high visual and merchandising standards. You will also be responsible for developing expertise in print and technology products to assist customers effectively, contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive customer-centric experience by proactively engaging every customer.
• Utilize the selling program to promote the sale of the best solutions and additional products/services.
• Maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines, ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment.
• Adhere to standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
• Complete freight processes and ensure the freight sorting area is organized according to guidelines.
• Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through training and certifications in Print and Technology.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support loss prevention efforts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred, but no previous experience required.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and G-Mail.
• Ability to use computers and technology for job-related tasks.
• Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to establish selling relationships with customers.
