About the position

Absolute Storage Management, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Property Manager for our storage facility located in Pompano Beach, FL. As a leading provider of self-storage solutions in the United States, we specialize in third-party facility management for owners and operators of self-storage properties. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently while contributing to the growth and success of the property you manage. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the property, which includes determining the size and availability of storage units based on customer needs, leasing units, and completing rental forms. You will also be tasked with marketing and selling storage space, managing revenue by computing and collecting rental fees, providing rental payment schedules, and communicating with customers regarding late payments. Maintaining the security of the property and assisting with its upkeep and curb appeal will also be key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and a dependable nature. While property management experience is a plus, it is not required. Training will be provided at our sister property in Sanford, FL until the new facility opens. This position offers a structured work schedule with no nights or Sundays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the property, including determining the size and availability of units based on customer needs.
  • Lease storage units and complete rental forms.
  • Market and sell storage space effectively.
  • Manage revenue by computing and collecting rental fees and providing rental payment schedules.
  • Communicate with customers regarding late payments and assist in their collection.
  • Maintain security and assist with the upkeep and curb appeal of the property.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Strong ability to work independently and dependably.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Property management experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check initiated on or before the first day of hire.
