About the position

Holiday Express is currently seeking applications for both CDL and Non-CDL Driver positions. These roles involve operating charter buses and motor coaches, as well as managing daily in-town and out-of-town school routes and activity trips. The ideal candidates will possess a Class B CDL with a Passenger Endorsement for operating motor coaches or large school buses. For those driving mini school buses, a valid Nebraska Driver's License is required. The company emphasizes the importance of a clean driving record, which will be verified during the hiring process. Responsibilities

• Check the bus tires, lights, and oil and perform other basic maintenance tasks.
• Keep the bus clean and presentable for passengers.
• Obey traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations at all times.
• Follow procedures to ensure the safety of themselves and all passengers.
• Account for all passengers before leaving a location to ensure no one is left behind.
• Watch traffic and people carefully to ensure the safety of individuals getting on and off the bus.
• Assist individuals with disabilities as needed during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain order and safety on the bus throughout the journey.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the operation.

Requirements

• Must have a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement for Motor Coach or Large School Bus.
• Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License for Mini School Bus.
• Driving record will be checked to ensure safety and compliance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience driving buses or large vehicles is preferred.
